The present section is dedicated to on-line or local validators for the validation of html markup, xhtml, xml, css, links or accessibility.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is in charge with the standardization of our exchanges through the Internet network, in particular the publication of the HTML and XML language specifications, as well as the DOM (document object model), or stylesheets, etc.
The specifications defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) are mandatory. The browser learn from the DOCTYPE declaration of a Web page the specification that the page declares to conform with. Then the browser tries to display the page following the specifique specification. All the specifications are available at the W3C website (http://www.w3c.org/)
Shall you need more information about the validation process or the structure of an html page, please see our article on validation
