| | This section is dedicated to some legal issues related to
the use of Internet and to the cyber-security: cyber-crime, Internet regulations, security and law,
privacy protection, information technology llaws, intellectual property, open source software. The resources gathered will help clarify some practical and
regulatory issues related to the various use of Internet, as well as the risks generated by various
abuses. About Internet, the Web and the law there are many areas of
interest in the legal arena. More precisely, our common sense invites us, as a person, a business,
a web site owner or a web developer, to discover the limits of our freedom, our rights and
obligations toward third parties or how to protect our person, our business properties or our works
from what is commonly said to be the "cyber crime". In some situations we may want to find a lawyer
but most of the time we are simply in need of a more relevant information in our day to day work.
This is the reason why we have set up this portal and commented the resources pointed to. The below
resources are about the said Internet Law, Security and the Internet, our privacy, IT law,
Intellectual Property, finding a lawyer, the Open source issues and more. We wish that our
resources may be helpful for our visitors. - Cyber crime

When a resource that we had
initially commented is no longer available we keep the information for a while in order to control
the situation before to remove it. Recently removed resources remain at the end of this
page. Cyber-crime? Undoubtedly it appears natural to use the word cyber-crime
to target the sending of virus and other attacks whose Internet actors are victims today. But does
the concept of cyber-criminality indicate only acts being able to be qualified "criminals"? Not so sure. A quick glance at the legal landscape of the
Internet would rather make us think the opposite. The systematic criminalization of all one each
one seems a heavy tendency, which threatens all the actors of the Web. We must be very careful to
the legal qualification of the situations, and as well for our own use of Internet, be it personal
or professional. Internet law Droit-Net is a Forum, centred on the legal issues related to
